Meet the Doctors



Dr. Cynthia Brzozowski is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University Dental School. She has been a practicing general dentist on Long Island for 26 years and offers top quality dental care for children and adults of all ages. Her services include oral hygiene, basic dental treatment as well as major restorative care including root canals, crowns, implants and cosmetic dentistry. She also has a select and highly trained team of specialists that she refers to in the immediate area to assist in  any other dental needs.

 Dr. Brzozowski maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society and the Nassau County Dental Society.

Besides her family dental practice, Dr. Brzozowski, in the "spirit of helping others", has been Forensic Dental Consultant for the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office since 1995. Dr. Brzozowski is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and a member of the American Society of Forensic Odontology since 1993. Dr. Brzozowski is also a member of the Disaster Mortuary Response Team ( DMORT Region 2 ), a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Her forensic experiences include forensic dental identifications, mass disasters including TWA Flight 800, WTC, United Flight 587, Hurricane Katrina, missing persons cases as well as consultations in bitemark cases involving domestic abuse and violent crimes.


David E. Tepel, DMD

Dr. David Tepel was raised in the community of Stewart Manor, NY proudly attending Stewart Manor Elementary School and Sewanhaka High School. For his undergraduate studies, he received his BA in biology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Upon graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a DMD in May 2006, Dr. Tepel began working in private practice. The practices have included locations in Long Island, Queens, and Manhattan.

Dr. Tepel values his close ties to the community in which he grew up.  He has maintained these ties through his membership in the Nassau County Dental Society and participation in local events, including his provision of oral cancer screenings at Belmont Race track, and contributions to local Give Kids A Smile programs.

A proud participant in organized dentistry, Dr. Tepel is a member the American Dental Association (ADA) and New York State Dental Association.  Dr. Tepel is constantly updating his education through continuing education courses and seminars.  In order to continue to evolve as a dentist, he is a regular attendee of the Greater New York Dental Meeting, Greater Long Island Dental Meeting, Yankee Dental Congress, and ADA Annual Meeting, among others.

When not in private practice, Dr. Tepel works as a dental consultant for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this capacity he provides guidance on clinical matters related to dental public health planning, as well as oral health outreach and interventions to help adults and children.
